4th of July Weekend - Housatonic, MA
After a relentless three hour persecution by both my mother and extended family, I caved, stuffed the duffle and charged my batteries. I had to get on a Wassaic bound train leaving Grand Central at 6:56pm and rendezvous with my mother and Rich.
After having some grub we continued on by car to the house in Housatonic. Massachusetts, for the most part, does not have many street lights. Not only are the roads pitch black at night but also very narrow and windy. We spent about an hour in the car until we got the house. I fell asleep almost immediately upon arriving.
THE NEXT MORNING
After a quick run, I showered and found my friend Haedyn sitting on the porch eating a cookie I made.
After everyone had breakfast we were getting ready to go on a hike. While sitting outside waiting for everyone, a neighbor drove by and informed me that the (house) dog was up the hill at another neighbor's house.
Eric wanted to do a cool composite image of Rich climbing around on the backyard tree.
That was the grand finale. Nova and Her friend Kathleen made haste and drove me to the train station to catch my 2:15pm back to NYC.
